Hi everyone

Well I'm afraid I've been a bit naughty was at an appointment with a doctor at my surgery his not been in the practice long so when I started to tell him my concerns about the levo giving me bad side affects he looked a bit lost... Ok he then started typing saying he was arranging for me to see an gastroenterology Dr.... I said don't bother as I've had 2 camera examinations in the bowls already and the diagnosis was colitis I then said read my records he did then dismissed the gastro app.. We had a conversation and he said I think you may have 2 things one your not converting I've looked at Yr bloods or your not absorbing... I said OK I don't want to take the levo he then said well that's a problem as theirs not much else we can give you.. I then said we'll I know their is theirs liquid levo T3 and NDT.. He consulted my normal Dr on this I then said to him while waiting for my normal Dr to come in "do you know how many thiyroid sufferers have to source their own thyroid medication in this country because they cannot get it threw their gp or endo" his poor face said it all he was like a rabbit caught in headlights..he didn't know how to answer me.. Lucky for him my normal Dr came in to the room.. I'll say one thing for him he persuaded my normal gp to inform my endo I need a trial of T3... Thank you new doctor... 🙏

Brilliant...well done

Keep working on your vitamins too as that helps T3 work better

Starting very very slowly with very Small dose of T3 alongside levothyroxine
