Just a quick note to say things are slightly on hold. Got called to Dr's yesterday re results of ECG, taken last week. Nothing major, I don't think! She needs to contact consultant to see whether any medication or further treatment is necessary! Can you believe it! Everything is like going round in circles! Just another problem on my list. Had to see a a different doc. As I was there, mentioned my ongoing saga, (hopefully, as they only deal with one problem at once, due to time restrictions, we all know about that) as she was reading my notes when I went in. Outcome was, she needed to verify vitamin readings from Medicheck before she agreed to anything. So, I am to have another blood test at Health Centre, not until next Wednesday! For VitB12 and Folate. Didn't realise Vit D is not included, but I am supposed to be providing that myself anyway (no dosage given - need to check that), and she would not agree to upping my levothyroxine, as she said my last readings were fine! Nothing new there then! Slowly, slowly, catchee monkey! Moving on, I did get my two years paper medical notes, so when/if I get an hour or so I will have a browse through them. Talk again soon!

If you were called to the surgery due to your ECG results - then they must know what the problem is. Did she say ? Do let us know what meds they suggest and for what ? Some conflict with Levo/T4 meds and reduce effectiveness !

She probably didn't understand the B12 result as you had the Active B12 Test - the NHS do not do it - so the result will be different with a different range !

Did she not comment on your LOW FT3 ?

SeasideSusie gave you advice about your VitD dose based on your result - and she would also have mentioned the important co-factors - magnesium and VitK2-MK7.

GP showing her ignorance as she is denying you an increase based on the TSH and not the VERY important T3. I do not think you are adding another issue regarding the heart - I think it is all part of your BELOW range T3. Your GP needs to go to Specsavers ....

Sorry Marz. Everything has been on hold for the last three months, and it has been so long since, I am not sure of the timeline anymore. I should have been keeping records, but haven't. I am suffering with brain fog and the constant headpain. It affects my concentration, memory and thought processes. I am struggling and only just managing to get through each day doing the routine household stuff, never mind doing any research or checking up, on medical issues, as my husband is also deteriorating making things very stressful at home. What I do recollect - she didn't accept the private blood test results, needed them to be verified by our health centre. Think she said my VitD was low but B12 was OK. Didn't check thyroid again, so still on same medication. Didn't hear anything from them after last appointment before lockdown, so assumed I did not need medication for my heart . Did manage to have a quick look through my records, but all seemed to be in order as far as I could tell. I didn't get around to making a consultation with a private endocrinologist - due to situation, so that is also shelved for now. Please don't think I was wasting your time, I wasn't. I do appreciate all the help I was given, but until I am feeling better physically and mentally I just cannot contemplate having to deal with any more problems, I am just going to have to accept whatever comes!
