I went from tsh 20 to 21,95 and t4 from 12 to 13, so its not getting very worse (I started selemium zink and kelp same time as levo..not so smart maybe but who knows it helped. Do you think its rely needed to add 25 mg again?
After six weeks talking levo: I went from tsh 2... - Thyroid UK
After six weeks talking levo
Certainly not smart to add kelp at any time. Kelp is very high in iodine, and iodine is not good for hypos.
If your TSH is over 21, you're probably going to need several increases of 25 mcg. You are very hypo.
But its not very bad is it it went not so much higher. And what is the meaning of f4 that is correct? There are ppl who have a lack of iodine Maybe me as well than its ok.
Levothyroxine contains iodine. You are very unlikely to need any extra especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (hashimoto’s)

Standard starter dose of levothyroxine is 50mcg
The aim of Levothyroxine is to increase the dose slowly in 25mcg steps upwards until TSH is under 2 (many need TSH significantly under one) and most important is that FT4 is in top third of range and FT3 at least half way through range
NHS guidelines on Levothyroxine including that most patients eventually need somewhere between 100mcg and 200mcg Levothyroxine.
It can be very bad, yes. Of course there are some people deficient in iodine, but you need to get tested first to see if you're one of them. You should not take iodine if you're not deficient. And, even if you are, you should be supervised by an experienced practitioner. It's not something to self-treat with.
And what is the meaning of f4 that is correct?
Sorry, I don't understand that question.
T4 is 13,7 and ranges are between 10 and 22 but its better to have like 20 right?
Yes Im gonna look for a test on jodium . (And I m looking where to test more like cholesterol cortisol copper iron etc) .
Yes, it does need to be higher. It's only 30.34% through the range. Should be about 80% at least.
I am in a fb group called thyroid regulair and alternative in Dutch language. There are some on natural hormon and with hashimoto who brought their antibodies to zero by diet no gluten no dairy no sugar no soya most biofoods.
And? Even if they did bring their antibodies down to zero - which I somehow doubt - and I doubt they would stay at zero for long if they did - they would still have Hashi's. Apart from gluten, I doubt any of those changes to diet would have any effect on antibodies, anyway. I never trust facebook groups.
Why not. Just people sharing their experiences and looking for answers and trying helping eachother .They will not lid about that Many found their life back since their change of diet.
