*update* & thank you

Sorry it's been a bit long since my post, but it really has taken this long to get a Gp appointment.

I've been full of anxiety all week & i can't say how many notes i've written regarding my symptoms, how many internet searches for valid info and how many headache tablets to ease the pain 😁 Every day i still woke up not remembering what my game plan could be cos the brain fog was so thick !

I needn't have worried, the dreaded male Gp was exchanged for a very fresh out of training young lady who was very sympathetic and understanding. She's upped the Levo by the 25mcg and prescribed 2000 a day Vit D, all on repeat for time being. Sadly she said she can only review Tsh in 8 weeks, so i guess i get to do my own private test once again ( not that i mind, it means they can't throw me the same arguement - i hope).

I'm hoping she's still there when i go back, it was really nice to have someone listen to me like a human being and not looked at like i was a needy, nutty, has been.

Thank you SeasideSusie & Greygoose and everyone who has helped so far x

Great result - suggest you make a note of the lady doc's name and ask for her specifically for future appointments

Good to hear that you got an increase in dose of Levo.

However,

"2000 a day Vit D,"

Please re-read my reply to your previous post

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

where I mentioned that the dose needed to raise a level of 44nmol/L to the level recommended by the Vit D Council/Vit D Society is 5000iu. I would buy your own and top up what the doctor has prescribed. Also, don't forget the important cofactors.

Will buy extra yes . I was just so happy she listened and upped the Levo, i didnt dare press any harder 😆. Other supplements, yeah i take those too.

Hoping now i get a more positive result for a little while, these current symptoms are way more scary than when i was first diagnosed x
