Tinnitis hypo or hyper or?

So some weeks ago while on good np thyroid my tinnitis was not that noticeable but since i have been changing around ndts because they went bad its been on and off it hasnt seemed to subside as much on thyroid-s ive heard it can be from low b12 hypo or hyper anyone have this as a hypo thanks

Thnks sc.rumbler im at ob gyn today and going to try and get her to test my vitamins and sex hormones i take iron tonic with b2 b6 niacin pantothenic acid and vit c ,b12 lozenges here and there ..the tinnitis has been around for s long time jts just.more noticeable her asn there as tweaking my dose and and down

Supplementing B12 will skew any result I'm afraid ...

Can you recommend a decent folate supplement? I'm also folate deficent, but currently taking 800mcg of normal folate (from Lloyds pharmacy).

But answering the op; folate deficency can cause tinnitis.

Too early to say right now, as been on folate for a few days. I may try the more active form Methyl Folate 5-MTHF, and see how I get on with that.

Hi yes I had bad tinnitus when first diagnosed hypothyroid but at that stage I didn’t know I had Hashimotos. I think it can be a symptom of hypo and hyper.
