Upping t3 and hypo - Endo says reduce t4

Hey all,

I have been increasing my t3 dose, managed to get up to 17.5 in the last 2 weeks. I take also 112 mcg Levo.

My Endo thinks I should lower Levo a bit, if I feel hot, anxious or can't sleep. I have issues falling asleep. He asked me to increase t3 to 20 and I did yesterday, but started to get really hot again (I felt so hot last time when I was on 125 Levo and 10 mcg t3). Could he be right? Anyone with similar experiences? I'm still hypo, puffy face comes and goes, stiff legs, not a lot of motivation, constipated the last few days, trouble falling asleep, long periods etc.

You need blood results to guide you. The symptoms are similar for too much levo or lio. You need to look at where your levels are in relation to the ranges and to each other.

Thanks Lala, I'm going for bloods in a week, should know more then. My feeling is that it is Levo, he wanted me to decrease to 100 with 20 mcg of t3. Last time I was burning up I had to reduce Levo and it went away. It's definitely not t3 after last bloods.
