i have noticed over the past few weeks how much my mood has changed, i have been feeling quite low and at other times angry and then quite weepy. i am on ndt and am doing well on it. however, as my last blood results indicated i could do with a slight increase, i did this and although i feel fine health wise, i have notice mood swings. Do you think this could be because i upped my meds or because i have been consistently forgetting to take supplements. i will start supplementing again properly before dropping meds. any thoughts would be appreciated

Forgetfulness and low mood are signs of low thyroid (t3) and of low b12 and low vitamin d (could even be low iron). I'd check that all of these are optimal and either book a blood test with your GP or arrange to have one done privately.
To give vitamin D a boost take (quality) Magnesium as well - it's a vital cofactor and certainly prevents mood swings..... it's a must through menopause!
