Hi Ocean2, I tried it a few months ago and it didnt suit me. Felt very unwell on it even when I took just a tiny crumb from one tablet x
I have been on Tiromel T3 from Turkey for the past 12 months.
I started on 2.5 mcg then slowly increase to 12.5 which is half the tablet.
This is where I am now.
I have felt back to my normal self taking T3 with my Thyroxine. I do have the occasional dip & sway.
Wouldn’t like to be without it as a recent endo visit tried to make me abstain to see if it was a placebo affect. It certainly wasn’t.
Good to hear you are having success with it Harthill42! How long were you on 2.5 mcg before you increased? How did you split it to 2.5 mcg! 😅 half of 12.5 is 6.25 which is already a tiny amount to split!
And what time of the day do you take it? Do you split your current dose of 12.5 mcg throughout the day?
Argh yes how did I split—- tooth 🦷 size bites so not to waste a crumb.
I this was for a month, then increased over time till i got to the half a tablet which I admit is easier to manage.
I put the other half back in the foil until the next day.
I take it with my 100 mcg of Levo all at once when I wake up or early hours if I go to the bathroom, dissolving the T3 under my tongue after I take Levo. Always leaving @ least an hour before food.
