This is probably a stupid question, but why would one need to know what packaging looks like? When you have to order from abroad?

If someone has never seen the packaging for the brand or type of thyroid hormone they receive from abroad they will want to check it to see if it looks as it should do.

It can also be useful if people go abroad and want to buy thyroid meds in a language they are unfamiliar with. They can print out a picture and show it to a pharmacist.

If packaging has changed recently it can help people to distinguish old stock from new stock.

Yes, humanbean, those are definite possibilities. And the "I had a pack once - it was green" issues.

(Yes, a picture really can help as a memory jogger.)

Also, I keep telling people to look on the card outer to check the maker - e.g. for Almus and Northstar. The pictures show clearly the licence holder's name and where to look.
