I haven't finished reading this yet because it is l-o-n-g! But it promises to be very interesting, so I thought I give you all a peek straight away.

Hi Grey, I bookmarked this a while ago and use it all the time as a reference. I think it is one of the most comprehensive articles about the thyroid process I've read so far.

Yes, and goes much further than any other article I've read. I Wonder how many doctors know about all this...

I mentioned it to one poster and she questioned whether any doctor would find it credible for some reason. I guess they really don't want factual information.

Probably not, that would show them how ignorant they are.

Going to the Conclusion at the end is often quite helpful :-) Lazy ol' me !!

Looks to be informative greygoose, but guess doctors could not be bothered to know the real facts. Will have to bookmark it as no time for reading it today. Thanks for posting.

Really good article, certainly shows the importance of RT3, I'm getting mine tested in a few weeks.

I just stumbled on this article browsing the web. OMG. Why don't doctors know this, the article says why but it's really hard to believe. I have hypothyroidism but the regular test show I'm in normal range. Doc didn't test reverse t3' also know I know that no matter how much synthroid they put me on why it's not working. I'm on 200 levo.

Everyone should read this article and take a copy to there doctor.

Every doctor should read it, but I doubt they will. They're not that interested, I'm afraid. But it would be good to try. Let me know how you get on. :)
