Can soia extracts included in face/body creams have an effect on Hashimoto sufferers? If I use any organic creams that include phyto-estrogen (like White Rhodadendron) I usually have a classic migraine within 30 minutes but, so far , have had no obvious effects from creams/lotions which have soia included in the ingredients.

I can't really help but just noticed this is your first post and you've had no reply!

Soya is supposed to have an effect on thyroid levels if you eat soya products but creams I don't know. Even the supposed goitrogenic (reducing the amount of thyroid hormone in the body) effect of eating soya is controversial apparently.
Soya based creams would be absorbed into the skin, I assume. Whether it would get into the bloodstream or do any damage if it did is another question. Personally I think it would be unlikely, and worth a try. Unless you are allergic to soy it would surely do no harm - or at worst give you another migraine!
PS Presumably the migraine is due to the phyto-estrogen itself. Many women get migraines due to hormone changes. I used to, but after the menopause migraines got less and less.
...Although if my thyroid levels are too low I still get headaches at times.
