I’m shocked!

My Endo who sent me for radioactive iodine whole body scan isn’t a Endocrinologist after all he’s a military medical intern who now works in pediatrics and I’m left without a doctor and have thyroid cancer recurrence.

Can you believe this I even asked him you plan on sticking around here and he said yes for at least a year ....,6 days later he’s a baby doctor.... I feel like they are trying to kill me.

I had the same with my recent endo consultant. Saw her in March, she said she’d see me in August and by August she’d left and moved to Dublin.

How about making a little complaint - copy in your MP! Poor you. Keep going and fight for your rights to adequate treatment.

Shocking and not acceptable would suggest you complain to PALS and your MP.

I'm in the US and absolutely Im going to file a complaint with the hospital commander who runs entire hospital and not the endocrinology dept head since this guy that they promoted to this position of dept. Head was the endo I saw almost 2 years ago who told me I needed to see a psychologist because Im not happy with my medical treatment after thyroidectomy. Wonder why.

Oh how awful for you to be told you need to see a psychologist because you are not happy with your treatment. Do hope you can find an endocrinologist who knows something about the endocrine system and you get the medical treatment you deserve, it is shocking how doctors say it's all in your head when it's their failure to give the correct medical treatments and Listen to their patients as we tend to know our bodies best

All in your head lines comes from those with God like complexes that think they know you better than you and pretty much don't know a darn thing about anything... He also told me as a parting gift that my bones are going to crumble and Im going to die of Heart disease....what a sweet heart wonder if he kisses his mom with that mouth...lol
