I’m aware that over treatment of T4 or T3 can cause hyper symptoms including atrial fibrillation.

You are so right. And it's something that Dr's *Must* know and practice with their patients. I had TT and experienced terrible palpitations and no Dr ever picked up that my FT3 was low. Dosing with T4 *Only* I am one of many that doesn't convert T4 to T3 well . Adding some NDT for my T3 mix made a *Huge* difference for me. The heart has T3 receptor sights.
