I started taking armour about two months ago and am now up to 60 (one gram)once a day .i don’t feel any better or worse than when I was taking 100 Levo .If my bloods are ok Can I change back to levo and if so how would I do that please..?
My GP won’t give me an nhs script for armour and I don’t think I want commit to paying 40 a month for it on a private prescript if no real benefit.
I have a diagnosis of Hashimoto for about 16yrs now but don’t really have a lot of symptoms and am generally well.
I take supplements also
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

Well my GP was concerned about my levels and I had wanted to try armour as a much more natural alternative.i saw an endo in 2015 and he wouldn’t prescribe it to me ,I saw an integrative Dr who specialises in thyroid and he has prescribed armour on a private script .I am having another blood test in a couple of weeks to check levels .
It's not just taking it that makes you feel well, it's taking enough of it. You're only taking a small dose. Do you have any lab results to post? With ranges.
What dose of Levo were you on? We shouldn’t compare but I am taking 1.75, 1.5 every third day on NDT and was on 125/100 Levo alternate days before. It’s not uncommon for people to be not on enough or taking too much so it’s always better if you ask just after you get results.
