Interaction between Blood Pressure drug and Levo??

It has just been reported

that blood pressure medication is significantly more effective if taken at night. I currently take mine in the morning but will definitely switch to night time. However, I also take my Levo at night - would this be a problem??

You would need to leave 2 hours between Levo and BP meds but I would also Google for "Levothyroxine and XXXXX interactions" naming your BP medication.

Lovely, thank you - I am aware that it is preferable to take levo away from food etc. so wasn't sure if another medicine would be a problem.

Yes, it's generally 2 hours for any other medication and supplements, although some need four hours and some need longer.

Well there is no interaction between the two - does that mean I can take them together though - it will be a real pain trying to remember to take them separately??

No you can't take them together, as mentioned any other medication should be at least 2 hours away from Levo. This is because we don't want anything to interfere with Levo's absorption, which is different from there being an interaction.
