A friend who has started on Levo and is already enjoying the benefits asked me if I would enquire as to whether Levo would increase her low blood pressure. Could anyone please advise. Thank you.

Let's just say 'it should do'. Low blood pressure is a hypo symptom, and taking the right amount of levo should get rid of all symptoms. But, there's never any guarantee of anything. :)

If you increase your Levo (T4) it should increase your T3 (assuming you are a reasonable or good converter). For some people (like me e.g.) an increase in T3 will increase the blood pressure (BP) for sure. I would love to increase my thyroid meds even just a little bit but cannot because of the resulting increase in BP.

Thank you, that is interesting. I will let my friend know your response. Best wishes.
