So, T3 arrives from Europe, 200 X 20mcg tablets. My instructions for taking this drug is a little ambiguous so need some advice...
My FMS said to drop my current dose of 200mcgs to 50mcgs per day and start taking 1/2 tablet of T3 in the morning and 1/2 tablet of T3 in the afternoon. She also said to start taking basal temperatures 3-4 times a day but I am unsure as to when to start taking the temperatures and when do I start to increase my dosage of T3 and T4??? This is all very confusing. My FSM only works Tuesdays through Thursdays and takes a long time to get back to you!!!
Added into the mix, that I am half way through preparing my body for FET and no, I'm not going to put off starting T3 until afterwards. The T3 is needed now more than ever!!
Thank you

That seems like setting you up to fail. What are your current blood results for Free T4, free T3 and TSH? It is more usual to reduce levo by 25mcg (but only if FT4 is near the top of the range) and take 1/4 tablet of T3 in the morning for a week, then increase to 1/4 tablet of T3 in the afternoon as well if needed. I think Paul Robinson's site may have something on taking temperature. I know his books do (but that is for people on T3 only). You could look up Broda Barnes temperature testing
