My doc tested for thyroid issues after my complaining of always being cold, exhausted, shaky, brain fog etc. He said my levels were normal Serum TSH level 3.51 and Serum free TS4 9.1. He was not interested in testing TS3 as says he can see all he needs to know. I’m guessing he’s not interested.

Are these the results that you posted previously in this post:

It was explained at the time that your TSH showed that your thyroid was struggling.
It was suggested that you get the full thyroid/vitamin panel and links were given for the appropriate test. Have you had this done?
If not then it's strongly advised to do so and come back with your new results for further comment.
Sorry, I forgot I posted this. My GP refuses to do further tests and I’m not able to go private. If there are no self help methods such as for b12 then I’ll just have to put up with it. I’ve been told that iodine is useful, also thyroid hormone tablets but don’t want to use these if they’re unsafe. Thanks for your reply.
You said in your previous post that you were self injecting B12.
Iodine is not recommended unless you have been tested and found to be deficient. Iodine deficiency is not common in the UK as it's readily available in foods such as milk, yogurt, haddock, cod, scampi, etc. Iodine used to be used to treat overactive thyroid so can make an underactive thyroid worse.
I don't know what you mean by "thyroid hormone" tablets, can you explain further or give a link to a brand?
I’m vegetarian and dislike dairy, so maybe that’s my problem. Will look back for the supplement link.
