Hi all

I have now been issued with T3 on the nhs

Endo has mentioned bone and heart problems from taking it

Can anyone elaborate?

Scare tactics. He doesn't want you to take it because he doesn't understand what it is. Your heart and bones need T3 - as does the rest of the body. Obviously you don't want too much, which could possibly cause problems of some sort. But, you're not likely to take too much because it would make you most uncomfortable. But, doctors are terrified of T3 because they don't learn about it in med school.

Absolutely. If ever one takes a little too much T3, the effects are felt quickly and are most unpleasant. No rational person would persist in taking too much of it.

And did he elaborate on this? If not, I wonder why not! Surely if he has worries about this, it's in the patient's interest to discuss it.
