Private test

Hello guys, if my GP refuses to investigate further, I m planning to do private checks, but once I have got the results will he consider them and treat me?

Some GPs will, some wont. If there are any out of range results that point to a problem and if your GP refuses to acknowledge your private tests, you then have the opportunity to say that they have been done by an accredited lab (which may actually be one the NHS uses) but if he's not happy with those results then will he please do them himself.

You can always post your results, plus reference ranges, on the forum for members to comment before seeing the GP.
