West of Scotland Thyroid Support Group: October 2019 meetings

Meetings will be held at the Newton Mearns location on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings as before, and an additional meeting will be held in the main Café of the Kilmarnock branch of Morrisons on the last Sunday afternoon of every month (see further below).

Please note the following dates:

Thursday 10 October 2019: Newton Mearns, 7pm to 9pm

Thursday 24 October 2019: Newton Mearns, 7pm to 9pm

Sunday 27 October 2019: Kilmarnock, Morrisons café, 3pm to 5pm.

Come and join our friendly, informal group on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Waitrose, 2 Greenlaw Place, Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire G77 6GW to have a blether, offload any problems or worries and exchange ideas about the best vitamin/mineral supplements, food issues and treatments. We will be at a table by the partition with the store side of the café (i.e. not the windows side). A small sign will be displayed on the table. (The café stops serving at 8 but, like the store, remains open till 9.) Hope to see you there!

Kilmarnock: Meetings are held at Morrisons, West Langlands Street, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire KA1 2PY. For the avoidance of any confusion, we meet in the main Café and NOT the very new coffee bar just inside the entrance. It was felt last time that our table near the clock was in an area that got very noisy at times, being close to the children's play area. It was also suggested that a 2.30 start might be better but we agreed to carry on with the 3pm start time for the time being. The next meeting on Sunday 27 October will therefore be at the front of the café (i.e. where the refreshments are displayed), in the first of the seats in the middle row.
