Really what is the point of a GP?

I been feeling like poo for the last 10 days with low back pain headache throat and ear infection when after a night of feeling as if l cannot hear and have razors in my throat, l get dismissed with paracetamol !

Oh and by the way l also have an outbreak of hives, looks like an allergic reaction to deodorant to me 🤔well considering l have not used any and l regularly get hives unlikely ...,

I feel a change of gp coming but my worry is will the next one give me b12 shots every 8 weeks 😡

You could try co-codamol from your local pharmacy. Stronger versions available on prescription.

Those who have P.A. can have a B12 injection every 2 months instead of three.

If your vitamin B12 deficiency is not caused by a lack of vitamin B12 in your diet, you'll usually need to have an injection of hydroxocobalamin every 2 to 3 months for the rest of your life.

If"they question this" tell them they don't read up-to-date information. and this is an excerpt from link above. We don't want to develop more serious conditions if not given sufficient B12 hormone replacement - such as dementia or nerve damage:--

Not diet-related

If your vitamin B12 deficiency is not caused by a lack of vitamin B12 in your diet, you'll usually need to have an injection of hydroxocobalamin every 2 to 3 months for the rest of your life.
