I’ve recently, because of my remaining symptoms, been testing to see if I might have an issue with B12, anyway these supplements were recommended to me and by my results I think you can see they have worked, so thought I’d share...
They have 3 different types of B12 in them.
I did this test which included MMA as I wanted to find out if that was raised because I couldn’t go off my B12 results as I’d been supplementing... ( my MMA came back low in range so all appears ok with my B12)
Most recent results
This result was following using these supplements everyday as I wanted to give my system a good blast to see if it was absorbing and to see if it made a difference with my symptoms...

Yes I stopped taking them for 2 weeks and I know they affect blood tests but it was the MMA level I was more interested in for the test I took - I was advised because I had supplemented B12 that I needed to check MMA to see if I have an absorption problem (this was on the PA site) but the knowledgeable people on the site said I’m obviously absorbing it and because my MMA was low that I can rule out PA.
I was just surprised how much my levels had gone up with this supplement v the others that I’d used, so thought they might be good for people who are showing low B12 and want to try and raise it fast 😊
Interesting jsmjar67 re the MMA level. Did they say stopping for two werks was sufficient to show the actual b12 level? I was told 8 weeks when on supplements.
Am on injections and was told b12 tests would be pointless now as the injections skew the results...
Tbh I was told to get a true picture to B12 levels to stop for about 5 months but I’m not willing to do that however if already supplementing raised MMA and Homocysteine levels can indicate a B12 problem, I did my intrinsic factor antibody but that can only confirm if positive but doesn’t rule out if negative. On the PA site they said or I’ve understood if I had an absorption problem supplements would make a difference but my Active HoloC went up quite a bit, my serum went up loads! but I’m assuming if I had an absorption issue my serum may have gone up but not the active and that combined with low MMA suggest I don’t.
Some on the site say their MMA has come down since injecting but still measures much higher than normal.
True but its not the only sign of b12 deficiency as it can affect different systems. Dr aChandrys book is very informative on this. . My symptoms were mainly neurological.....b12 low but in range but my bloods etc were good, no sign of anemia etc... But what has abated my neurological symptoms is b12 shots, many symptoms have gone but not all but I continue to improve after a year & am keeping my fingers crossed that I dont have permenant damage.
I think the problem is b12 deficiency is treated in a simplistice way like hypothyroidism is but the reality is very different. I call it doctoring by numbers, aka painting by numbers!!
The main thing is your symptoms are improving and you feel better. If what you do works for you then that is brilliant. 🤗🤗 Maybe doctors will catch up one day you never do know!!! Lol
