I have, I spoke to them last Tuesday, they promised to either phone or e mail me back but haven't done either, to be honest I expected nothing more.
This is the usually mess around with patients routine, believe it or not I'm one of the lucky ones. Some are left house bound with no doctor call outs, no receptionists answering the patients calls and no life giving medication. Everyone is stuck in the web.
I'm a great believer in the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Maybe ring again and again and again, more than once each day if necessary, saying something along the lines of "You promised to ring me back......." or "Have you any news for me yet, it's very urgent.....".
Do you have a partner? Maybe they could ring and say something along the lines of "I'm ringing on behalf of Angelic69, she has asked me to ring as she is exteremely unwell at the moment and can't manage to phone herself today but is desperately waiting for some news from you, I can pass the phone to her if you'd like to speak to her.........."
I entirely agree with SeasideSusie, A bloke I used to work with always said "a crying baby get most attention" - it has worked for me in the past. I would say, "I don't want to be a nuisance but …. "
