Hi Tricia,

It’s good to hear you are in remission - but how long has that been for and are you still on anti-thyroid drugs? As I’m sure you are already quite aware, other issues besides Graves affect fertility as well.

I have attached some information for you here that I hope will be helpful to you.

Been in remission for three months. And thank you.

You are so welcome and hoping you stay in remission for a very long time. Unbeknownst to me, I was borderline hyperthyroid prior to my pregnancy . I wish I had had information back then (27 years ago) about how to manage it. Because I was borderline and “in range”, it went unnoticed, and ultimately I had many difficulties post pregnancy that I now know were related to my thyroid.

I did develop Graves many years later.

All best wishes to you.

3 months isn't long in terms of remission but you can't tell if/when it might come back, I was in remission for 30 years but went hyper again.

I had 3 children whilst in remission but possibly my last pregnancy kicked it all off again.

Not what you're looking for?
