I do have symptoms of hypothyroidism, but I do not have classic symptoms of hypothyroidism. I also have symptoms of hyperthyroidism, like excessive sweating, heat intolerance, frequent bowel movements, anxiety, racing thoughts, frequent urination( I have been tested for diabetes. I don't have it.) and i'm skinny and losing weight rather than gaining it?
Could someone explain this to me?
It sounds like you may have autoimmune thyroid disease aka Hashimoto's which is suggested by raised antibodies. Have you had thyroid antibodies tested? If not ask for them to be tested - Thyroid Peroxidase and Thyroglobulin.
Hashi's is where the immune system attacks the thyroid and gradually destroys it, you can have symptoms of both hypo and hyper and swing between the two. Test results can fluctuate as well as symptoms.

Excellent advice from Seaside Susie. Hashi's is unpredictable in the early stages and many GPs will just give you a blank look if you are average to slim - they'll rule hypothyroidism out there and then, before checking antibodies and may decide you have IBS instead.
One thing that they should also rule out (you mentioned diabetes) is Addison's (autoimmune adrenal disease) and it would be wise for you to cross-check symptoms anyway (Addison's and Hashi's can coexist). Symptoms can look quite similar to hyperthyroidism.
