I’m still quite new here, wanting information about sourcing T3

I’m still quite new here, wanting information about sourcing T3 or Armour Thyroid (not sure yet which way would be best) and also best place for fingerprick blood tests so I can monitor.

I’m on 50mcg of Levothyroxine and my GP said my TSH was now normal :

TSH. 1.1 .35 - 5.5

FT4 17.7. 10.00 - 20.00

She said I’ll only need my next test in a year. The other GP would never let me have Levothyroxine even when TSH was 6.4

My husband thinks (he’s researching and read things on here) I need to try either T3 with T4 (not sure how much?) or Armour Thyroid as that has both T3 and T4...? I’ve had a dna test that suggests I may not convert.

I understand you would need to private message me with information for sourcing and would appreciate it, but also we’d need help with how to start dosing and where to have blood test.

I have had some benefits from T4 like less anxiety and a clearer head but energy and fatigue no difference.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there

You have requested where to source T3 and for replies by private message - therefore I will close this post per forum rules.

In order for members to reply to your other questions I suggest you start a new thread, home-test kits can be purchased from various places e.g. Medichecks, Blue Horizon

labs etc. thyroiduk.org/tuk/testing/p...
