I just stopped one day then started on a low NDT dose the next-remember that when on Levo you got a store in your body so low to start with and gradually increase. But I can't remember the actual figures now but I used the STTM books advice so if either of you have that then follow that. I think they have a Facebook page so may be you can ask on there but I'm sure someone with a better memory than I will. be able to help.

Can't say I've ever used it either but their method worked but scared of my memory playing tricks and giving you the wrong info!

May be start another thread on here asking about it might catch someone's eye. I did have the book but no longer sadly or I would have checked for you

From what I can gather its 1 grain split in 2 for 10 to 14 days, then add half a grain for another 10 to 14 days then 2 grains see how you feel and add or reduce on symptoms

That does sound familiar and to start off with I think I had to take the next dose at the shorter time interval. When my body felt the first increase it didn't take too long to scream for more! I did miss my sweet spot though but thankfully arranged the change over before my next Endo appointment so the hospital paid for the testing but I was overmedicated. Not much but I did realise at one point that adding in another quarter wasn't making much of a difference. That means that now if I'm unsure of the dose I'm on I drop back first and keep doing that until I feel it's low then titrate up.

So Endo dropped my dose and ordered retest in 2 months and it was spot on!

Yes, I think you’re right. This seems to ring a bell with me as the correct way to switch over .
