Can anyone tell me how and when levo should be adjusted if prescribed a course of pseudoephedrine (for sinus problems). When I took both together, sometime back, I was admitted to hospital, one week after completing the course, with massive papitations.

MIXING LEVO WITH PSEUDOEPHEDRINE
A chiropractic adjustment sorted my sinus problem.
don't think my GP would prescribe that
This is the difference, gp’s are taught how to prescribe drugs.
yes. My concern is how to manage the two elements without ill effects
There are other options, as all drugs come with side effects and many are not good taken together, which varies from person to person.
Some people say that Netipots are excellent for sinus problems, steam, and some see a chiropractor, or there is acupuncture, homeopathy, nutritionists to find and treat the root cause, it may even be a dental issue. I am just trying to help by saying that it’s not always a pill.
Sinus issues can be dairy or lactose intolerance. Common hypothyroid problem
Are you on strictly dairy or lactose free diet?
Or tried either?

I'm okay now. Think I had a rather nasty sinus infection. Wondered how to balance the two medications if ever it happens again.
Hi fiftyone,
I have a similar issue from time to time. I try to take the pseudoephedrine 2-3 hours after my thyroid meds - and it seems to work OK. I take only 1/4 tab at a time twice a day (15 mg x 2) as I find it is quite strong enough when I have a serious sinus infection. Normally, I use saline to clear my nose on a regular basis because I have chronic rhinitis so drugs are not usually needed in my case unless there is a genuine infection.
Unfortunately for me, non medical solutions do not work when that happens to me so for the 3-5 days or so that I need the pseudoephedrine I use it and feel much better. Sometimes we do need medicine to feel better - so I am not in agreement with others that natural solutions are the always the answer. Hope this helps.
