Does anyone else have Beau's Lines?

HI All

I've had the white fingertips of very mild raynauds for very many years now

However, this winter the white fingertips were really bad

And it has left me with a horizontal 'cut' in the middle of each fingernail, which are also slightly bloodshot

I saw a dermatologist today and he says it's Beau's Lines and one of the possible reasons is hypothyroidism - I am hypothyroid and on 50 Levo

Does anybody else have these lines please?

Thank you helvella for your link to someone else who has nail problems

What this person has does not look like my beau's lines though

As there are no deep horizontal cuts in the nail bed

However, Some of the comments are helpful

Also, can I ask please why my post does not show in the daily bulletin of posts?

I am sorry, I don't know why your post didn't appear. It is something that seems to happen from time to time. I don't get the daily bulletin so tend not to notice anything about it.
