St. John's wort and levothroxine

Hi I am on levothyroxine 75mcg and recently has a lot of stress and worry, feeling a bit depressed most days has anyone took St. John's wort while in levothyroxine? If so how did you find it? Any issues?

I don't take it as it can cause blood pressure to rise, and I already have high BP; but I wanted to tell you, in case you weren't aware, that there is a risk that St. John's wort may cause serious interactions with some medications, because of which, I understand that France has banned its use in products and in other countries it is only available with a prescription. This site lists its possible drug interactions in case you are taking other meds that you need to take into consideration

A long long time ago whilst I was on Levo I read on a forum that Levo and St John's wort were a no no. I don't think it mentioned anything like it was possible if took at different times but later that day I happened to go into a brand new H&B shop and the big draw was they had a machine that said it could tell you if medicines clashed. So being a bit naughty I decided to ask about thyroid meds and St John's Wort. I was told there was no problem so I thanked them and left knowing I had heard you can't take both and so haven't been happy with H&B since but it also made me think that if I'd gone in without knowing two medicines then had to rack my brain then I could have been told something that was completely wrong because I didn't know better. So whenever I see this mentioned I also think back to that date and no, I don't assume it's right or wrong. I would always do my own research first.
