Does anyone...or has anyone..used T3 intermittently...occasionally...or once or twice a week ?
Does this in itself cause problems?
It’s just that I embarked on T3 to add to my very low dose NDT...time amount...6 mcgs t3 to 3/4 grain NDT
At first I thought I’d hit on a good solution to ongoing problems ..but no...ten days in and feeling ,ore and more spaced out and just not quite right...
So stopped the T3 yesterday..and now don’t k ow what to think ! Same old, same old...

No, because of relatively short life not really suitable to use T3 intermittently as 1 or 2 doses per week, tho some do add little bit if doing particularly hard exercise to top up ‘exhausted’ T3. Were you taking the T3 with your NDT dose, say early am, then the 6 mcg T3 together or mid afternoon? What make T3?
Tiromel? The second added dose of T3 then should have perked you up if flagging mid afternoon. Did your blood results suggest you needed more T3, perhaps an increase in NDT would have suited you better. It is difficult to judge from blood test results once you add any form of T3 ( whether as part of NDT or T3 alone) as FT4 levels can go down, along with TSH. Your body may have got used to the T3 after 10 days and asking for an increase, rather than complaining about the extra new T3! Be patient and record symptoms( like bp,pulse, basal temp, how you feel) and you might see some pattern.
