A question about hashimoto's and lymphocytes

I am still in the process of trying to get a diagnosis of anything. Advised my members on here that i have hashimoto's.

My lymphocyte count is low and keeps getting lower. Last checked it was 0.9 (1.5-4.0) Just wondering if anyone on here knows if that's connected to hashimoto's?

Thanks in advance

From LabTestsOnline.org.uk: "Decreased lymphocyte levels are common in later life but can also be due to steroid medication, stress, lupus, and HIV infection."

More information at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymph...

I don't see a link with thyroid issues, unlike basopenia, which can be linked to hyperthyroidism.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I was being investigated for lupus too but so far that's come to nothing. My Dr had suggested the low lymphocytes could be connected to lupus but everything is still under investigation.
