New blood tests

Hi everyone!

I just want to write my new blood test results June 2019 as compared to those in October 2018:

Ft4: 0.97 (0.89 -1.76) (1.09 in Oct 2018)

Ft3: 3.46 (1.8 - 4.2) (3.15 in 2018)

TSH: 15.69 (0.550 - 4.78) (24.200 in 2018)

As you notice, my TSH has significantly dropped (took the hormone with a capsule of C vit. 1000 mg), but Ft4 has also dropped and Ft3 has grown, why? I am on 50 mcg of eutyrox, cannot raise it as I don't feel well with the increase; however, I'm not sleepy ANYMORE, my hair has stopped falling, I feel well, except for the shortness of breath, which is very unpleasant, I cannot walk quickly, as I used to! Of course, a number of extra kilos, but I maintain the same weight, cannot slim down a bit! the thick "belt" around my neck is gone, as I had told you a few months ago, so I can bend down when I dry my hair, or whatever activity i perform, a thing which I couldn't do before, you remember, my diet with the buckwheat and walnuts and honey, one day/week; what is important, my nodules haven't grown in years! three weeks ago I started the diet again, hopefully my nodules would shrink more, in fact they were never big, otherwise, the doctor might have told me to have the thyroid removed; what do you think, has anyone some advice for me? Thank you!

I am glad to hear it sounds like you have made some improvements with range of motion. I’m not good with the lab numbers. Perhaps the weather has cooled down enough for someone who is to look them over & comment on them as you had hoped.

I have read comments on other posts advising it is best to break a lot of wording up into smaller paragraphs so that it is easier to follow. I think that advice will help you out in future posts as well.

It sounds like you are really striving to improve your health. I wish you further progress & good luck.

Thank you, Clarissa, for taking the time to read my post!

I was wondering why my Ft 4 has dropped and my Ft 3 has raised! I'm on the same 50 mcg of L-Thyroxin, I don't know...

Thank you for the wishes!

I am puzzled by my thyroid labs too. I keep reading that vitamin B-12, vitamin D, folate & ferritin need to be optimized before looking into other things.

I will follow you, let’s get optimistic we can sort all this out!
