Hi all sorry I am new to posting and I didn't explain the link. It is an article from the daily mail and yet again we are in the spot light having to defend our thyroid illnesses and medication needs. If I didn't have the support of this forum then I would be just as uneducated like most of the people who have made comments in the article. I give up!!!

Thanks for posting Liza73. The comments below the article are typical - so many people think that we are just lazy and fat and want a quick fix. I’m sure that’s the view of many Drs too.

Like mental illnesses, people can’t see the effects it has on sufferers so make assumptions.

Unless public opinion is on the side of sufferers we have no hope of changing guidelines.

Will you please edit your post and give a short explanation of what the article is about. I'm sure many of us here would be interested, but there are many who are hesitant to follow a link not knowing what to expect and may miss out on some useful information.
