HU Hiding messages

Curious to know why HealthUnlocked cuts out previous private messages. I have just written a message to one of the ladies here on this site, I fired it off, and then noticed that I had asked her the same question a while back but hadn't realised, because our messages had been held back until I had sent the message off.

This never used to happen, seems a bit silly to me, WHY???????

I think this might be because you are compiling a "new message" to the member.

If you go into your Chat thread and seek out previous messages to that member and click on them, you will see your previous string of messages and can just tack your new message onto the end of the string. If you click on the member's name then "Message" that's creating a new message so is added to the previous string once it's been sent.

I hope that makes sense (my head knows what I mean, it doesn't always come out that way though ).

Hi margo, I've just had that happen to me too! I've just sold a lymhodema sequential massage machine to a fellow member. We exchanged bank details via a private message and she sent me her address to post it to. I didn't write it down, but when I was getting the label together, I looked at my phone for her address and it was gone! The whole conversation was gone! I'm pretty sure I didn't do it accidentally. What's going on?

Well even though I said I understood on my previous reply to Seaside Susie, I don't understand. It has happened several times again to me. It is very annoying and so unnecessary, I just don't know why HU need to do it? I suppose all you can do is ask Admin where the information you are looking for is. Good luck!
