Hi, I've had T3 prescribed by a NHS endo from a private appointment, and my GPs have asked that an IPTR form is filled in to go up the decision making chain to see if I can get T3 on the NHS. I am in Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. Anyone had success here?
(Note I previously posted saying I was in NHS Highland, my mistake).
Thanks!

Thank you SlowDragon, I am aware of the campaigns and have a to-do to write to my MSP to state my case as the draft NICE guidelines seem to give a get out clause for prescribing T3 (as far as I understand them). I am hoping the prescription decision goes my way, however I have heard that in NHS Grampian there is a flat refusal to prescribe NHS T3 (although I'd assume you might be able to persuade an endo to do a private prescription). It is so wrong that it will cost the NHS more than if I were to get the prescription privately fulfilled in Germany. I am prepared to fight this if it doesn't go in my favour, and I appreciate all the help there is on this forum, it's invaluable.
