Hi, I was here last week with my latest results. I have Hashis and have been on Levo 50mcg since January. Despite still feeling rubbish my GP won't increase my dose (not even nominally) as I'm 'in range' and refuses to consider any arguments re. treating symptoms rather than numbers.
For the past few months I've been getting really sore and stiff finger joints and in the morning I'm waking up feeling like an old lady ( i was 44 a few weeks ago). Has anyone else had this with Levo? I've never experienced it before.
I avoid Teva as I don't get on with it at all.
Many thanks.
P.S. I know I'm probably under medicated but am in a total deadlock with my GP and am considering seeing a private endo 6 hours away or trying NDT in an attempt to up my dose of thyroid hormones.
Hi, I think they've increased and it's just the way I've presented my results! The first number for each result is from last week, then the range in brackets, then the last figure is from January's test.
But yes my vit D is still very poor. I'm supplementing with the spray, more than the daily dose as that's not enough yet. I'm seriously considering NDT as I'm so tired and cold, and my libido went AWOL in 2012 when my son was born (traumatic emergency C section) and never returned. I think that's when the Hashis really kicked in after years of lurking.
