Missed yesterdays dose of levothyroxine.

Hi .

I realised this morning that I missed my dose of levothyroxine yesterday. I take 125mcg. daily.

I have taken 150mcg. today. Should I continue to take 150mcg. for another four days to make up for what I missed.

Missing one dose or even a few won't have any big impact on you as it has a long half life so just carry on with your normal dose, no need to take extra.

No, there’s no need to ‘catch up’ and definitely no need to increase the dose or do so for days. You shouldn’t notice any difference to one or more missed days.
