Hi all I’ve finally managed to get a blood test without an error and would really appreciate if someone would be kind enough to tell me what I need to do now please? I am taking thiroyd from Thailand. Do I need to increase/decrease/stay as I am? Many thanks in advanced for your time and advice.

How do you feel?

Your TSH will be low or even suppressed on NDT, so that result is no surprise.

FT4, we are all different where we need that when on NDT or combination Levo/T3.

FT3, however, is rather low so that suggests there is room for you to increase your dose of NDT.

Your Thyroglobulin antibodies are high. This can be Hashi's but there are other reasons for high Tg antibodies too. Your TPO antibodies are well within range, if these were over range that would suggest Hashi's. You can have Hashi's with in range TPO and over range Tg antibodies.

I feel ok, definitely better then when on levo, but am sure I could be better. Brain fog has improved massively, mood swings can be temperamental apparently I can be short and snappy, and weight loss is minimal, I’m happy to try an increase, when I tried half grain increases in the beginning I really struggled so had to go with 1/4 increases, how much would you suggest increasing by in total?

With regard to the antibodies, if it’s not definitive that it’s hashis ( which I’m obv hoping it isn’t ) how would I find out why they are not in range, and how to possibly rectify? Sorry for all the questions, it’s just such a mind field i Really struggle to get my head around. I wish like most of us there was a cure.
