I thought I’d give an update on how my Slimming World diet is going. I started it to keep my husband company on Jan 2nd this year. We’re still doing it and I’m now down to 9 stone 12 pounds from 10 stone 12. I’ve always eaten healthily, never buy the Slimming World Frankenfoods and cook from scratch ever day. But I think the thing that’s made the difference for me is sticking to the points system and making good use of the ‘free foods.’

I’m still amazed, Paula. I’ve tried starving myself (bad, bad idea!!!), low carb, high protein, HCG drops... nothing worked. I’d lose about five pounds max and then put it all back on. But this has been ‘slow and steady wins the race.’
I have been so unwell for so long, barely ate anything because of under medication and put on over 2 stone 😬 but now I’m properly medicated I lost 10lbs without even trying 🥳 Now I’ll have to get back to better eating, to rid myself of the rest but I’m enjoying life too much atm 😂 Too much wine!!! I’m content though so I’m not finding my extra weight too upsetting but I think my liver would appreciate a holiday 😂
