Worried sick- blood results
Why do you think that ?
Sorry my previous post was more explanatory! I have an 18mm nodule that’s has been referred for urgent 2 week referral. Having fine needle aspiration next week. I have a well defined cystic nodule with multiple thick separations and solid mural nodule which is showing intensive internal vascularity! This is consistent with U3 which requires further investigation!
No ranges on many of these
But only comments added
Folate - low
B12 - low
Ferritin - no comment - get range on test results from GP. This looks on low side - should be half way in range for good thyroid function
Vitamin D - not tested - ask GP to test or test privately

As you have other medical issues including fibromyalgia central hypothyroidism should be considered.
TSH is not raised. This is the message from pituitary.
But you need TSH, FT4 & FT3 tested together
Folate and B12 are both low. You need full testing for Pernicious Anaemia before starting on B12 injections or daily supplements and daily folic acid should not be started until 48 hours after first B12 injections
Improving these is first step
Fibromyalgia is often linked to low FT3....

Thanks so much that’s really informative and I will email Dionne x
Fibromyalgia is very often linked to being hypothyroid
Public posts on here in in Thyroid section of health unlocked that mention fibromyalgia

Yes I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia but had a private blood test which showed a positive ANA of 1:320 homogenous/ speckled but nhs repeat was “normal” I am thinking some type of autoimmune condition is the underlying cause of many of my symptoms
You need TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested
Would suspect autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's)
And/or Pernicious Anaemia
High TG antibodies can be due Pernicious Anaemia
Thank you so much. You have been a massive help- if only doctors took the time to explain things to me like you have. I do think a lot gets swept under the fibromyalgia umbrella rather than be further investigated sadly.
I’m following you here now to keep up to date on things so you don’t have to keep up with two posts.
