A few more 'jokes'

These stories of GPs snatching away our vital liothyronine has me so worried I've surrounded my supply with apples. That'll fix 'em.

-------------------------------------

Like many hypothyroid patients I developed severe acid reflux and my GP prescribed PPI tablets. I said are these the ones that keep sending me texts about compensation?

------------------------------------

Joint pain is another side effect of hypothyroidism. I went to see the doctor with a very painful arm and he told me I have tennis elbow. " I've never played tennis. " I protested. The physiotherapist also told me I have housemaid's knee, so I'd better give it her back.

--------------------------------------

During my last blood test the nurse complained I was a bleeder. I said that's what my mum always called me when I was a kid.

Laughter is good medicine. So you should be on the mend soon. ;-)

What would we do without a sense of humour?

You do know that you have to add a new apple every day ...?

I've got a bushel of Granny Smiths, I'll throw them at them if I have to haha.

Laughter does raise one's spirit (the right one I hope :) ) and am glad you can see the funny side of life,, especially when we are awaiting a miraculous cure which is very slow coming - especially if the doctor sticks to the guidelines.
