Ok so how do I do this? Taking levothyroxine at 5.15am is making me foggy headed and headache for 3-4 hours from taking it. I wish to switch to taking it middle of the night.... say midnight . How do I switch from morning to night plz?

Three options spring to mind:

Take usual dose in the morning and a second dose bed-time the same day.

Skip usual morning dose and take at bed-time instead.

Take half a dose in the morning and full dose at bed-time.

Although many find that they need to keep their dose pretty even, and find even small adjustments can make a surprising difference, a one-off extra-dose or missing a dose is unlikely to have that much impact.

Or a variation of Helvella’s last suggestion if you’re sensitive to it. Day 1 - take half in morning and half that night. Day 2 - repeat Day 1 if you feel you need to or if not take it all at night. I’d do it at weekend when not working if possible.

I'd take helvella's advise. When I switched, I simply stopped mine that morning and took at 11pm at night with water. Just makes sure you have nothing to eat or drink (aside from water) 2 hours before. I make sure I've eaten and had any snacks before 8:30pm. I found Levo suits me better in evening. Best wishes x

As it's a working week I've taken the safe option of taking half at 5.10am and will take the next half at 11.00pm. I'll see if this affects my sleep tonight 😖

I didn't take the other half last night as had my bloods this morning. Tonight I'll take my whole 100mcg in one dose and hopefully sleep off the foggy headedness and headaches.

How far apart from magnesium calcium vit d combo is it advisable to take levothyroxine plz?

Thanks
