Despite being on carbi down to 10mg and propanal 15mg daily since Nov still have all Graves or anxiity symptoms if anything more .T4 down from 21 to 9 but then 10 six weeks later but within range 8 to 14 ..TSH up from basically nothing to nearly 5 range 1 to 4 ...T3 was 5 when last checked and peroxide 75.4 ..all vitamin levels fine ...59 got asthma and anxiety high due to home issues .seeing endo specililast on Tuesday and booked in for radioactive drink on 18th April but uncertain about this sorry this is a rush job help please .chris x

Riley my first reaction on reading your post was that having RAI after only a few months treatment was crazy. You need to stand back and give yourself longer to consider all your options. Then I looked back to your other posts and a whole lot of other questions came to mind. The first being how do you even know it is Graves disease ? I see no mention of you having TRAb test to confirm it. You seem to be going hypothyroid so it would appear you are not being monitored correctly. Lots of good advice was given in reply to your other posts but you don't seem to have taken their advice. Go back to basics. Keep it simple. Give all your blood test results with ranges that have been done along with the doses of drugs you were on and your symptoms. With this information I am sure you can get good advice. Many of us would love to help. However I am struggling to make sense of what is going on but others wiser than me may !

TSh receptor in Jan which is TRAB was 10 range 0to 1 other than that thyroid peroxide was 75 range 0 to 9 TSH has gone from nothing to nearly 5 range 0.5 to 3.6 apart from medication listed previously on sertraline for depression and take asthma preventor .Had anxiety before graves now very high other symptoms heat insensitivity urinating a lot and poo loose irritability headaches sore eyes coughing.Cholesterol has always been high

Still having difficulty understanding your disease course. I have tried to compile a summary. If you correct any mistakes and repost as a new query you may get more response as people won't need to refer back to all your other posts and I feel you do need some good advice from as you are being badly treated by your doctor. Check too if it is T4 and not FreeT4

In your tests and if Free T3 was ever measured

Oct. - T4 is 21 ( range 7.9 - 14 )

TSH 0.005 ( 0.57 - 3.6 )

You are started on 15mg Carbimazole and 30mg Propranolol.

Nov. T4 18.4 TSH 0.005

Dec. T4 14 TSH 0.005

Carbimazole and Propranolol reduced to 15mg.

Jan. T4 9 TSH 5 Trab 10 (0-1)

TPO 75 ( 0-9)

You feel awful with symptoms of anxiety etc

All vitamins fine.You are having RAI ablation 18th April.

Given thyroid levels have come down within a couple of months, it does seem early to be pushing RAI.

It doesn’t look as though FT3 has been measured, but TSH appears to have recovered, so unlikely it’s still above range.

Riley, are you still on 15mg/day carbimazole ?
