“Why is pain so common in vitamin D deficiency?”

This is me. I cannot sleep at all and when I do it’s rarely the restorative part. I am in pain especially night and morning, left sided abdo I/hip, awake for hours moving around. I’ve been taking vitamin D/K2 spray for 18 months. It says here that not having enough B5 along with D can cause all this. I’m very worried about what years of insomnia has done, and will do to me. I struggle swallowing tablets and worry about taking too high a dose of any vitamins. I’m constantly looking things up in an attempt to get well, but even doing that makes things worse.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks.

Hiya vitk helps to absorb vitD . I don't take painkillers anymore I use a vibration plate 1st thing n last thing for 10 mins .

The bigger the better and works a treat .

May need a good blood detox if your levels are met this may help eliviate most symptoms.

I have scoliosis ,hip pain and hashimotos (diagnosis anyway)

Hope you find healing .

My vitamin D spray has K2 in it.

What is a vibration plate and how does it help? Are there different sizes?

Blood detox?

I also have scoliosis, hip and back pain and hashimotos. I’m sure there is a link with these problems.

Thank you.

It isn't the case that Vitamin K helps the body to absorb Vitamin D. Vit D ensures that blood levels of calcium are high enough to meet the body's needs, while vit K directs the calcium to promote calcification of bone and reduce calcification of soft tissues such as joint spaces, the kidneys, and arteries.

It is another of Vit D's co-factors, magnesium, that helps the body utilise and convert vit D into its active form.

I’m not sure where you found the vitamin D result of 98nmol but my records show two readings of around 50 2011 and 2017. My last result was 112 March last year after supplementing. I await recent results which I expect to be higher than the last after supplementing for 18 months.

Ahhh yes the one you refer to was done elsewhere last December after lowering dose in Summer due to lots of sunshine. I have increased since then, so should now be back up.
