After reducing T3 dose, how many days to show potential reduction in blood result?

Hi,

I slightly increased my dose recently, from 10mcg daily to around 13mcg. I'm now needing to reduce back to 10mcg as endo did not approve dose increase, so I want monitoring blood test to only show the results of what he prescribed.

How long does it take to give an accurate reading for FT3 after reducing? I don't want to produce an unexpected result and then the endo quibbles about my repeat prescription.

The reason for the increase was that my symptoms were worse in the cold weather, so I needed more T3 to function. The endo didn't agree, saying something else was causing the worsening of symptoms. But now I'm due to see him again next month, so need to reverse the higher dose.

(He also wants me to do monitoring blood test 4 hours after taking tablets. Of course, that's against what is advised here. There's more about that in my previous post).
