Conversion of nmol/l to ng/dl

In my friend's blood test results his testosterone level is measured in nmol/l. He is reading a book entitled "Testosterone Optimisation Therapy (TOT) Bible by Jay Campbell, which is very interesting by the way, and the recommendation is that testosterone levels should be over 500 ng/dl. This presumably is how they record it in the US. Can anyone provide an equivalent of this in nmol/l.

According to the Oxford handbook of Endocrinology & Diabetes normal Testosterone is reported as 8.4-28.7nmol/L or 29-100ng/mL for males. Both measurements are used in the UK it just depends on which the lab uses.

jimh111 posted this useful calculator the other day. Scroll down and you'll find testosterone and can convert from ng/dL to nmol/L and vice versa
