WP Thyroid 1 grain available at Roseway Labs - private prescriptions only

Just to let you know, because I know that people have been struggling to access this medication, that Roseway Labs have some WP Thyroid 1 grain available. They only accept private prescriptions though, unfortunately.

Please can you tell me how to take this? I’m waiting for it to arrive( private script) but my endo didn’t explain anything to me, so I’d really appreciate any information at all. This is my first time taking NDT and I’m hopeful but anxious because I’ve not been given any instructions. Thank you

First of all, make sure that you take the right amount. Generally, NDT equivalence is 100mcg levo = 1 grain.

Most people take it the same way that they took their levothyroxine, at least at the beginning i.e. in the morning with water and wait at least half an hour before eating. If symptoms only partially improve I know some people spread the dosage throughout the day i.e. half in the morning and half around 1pm.
