So my battle that has been going on for 2 months now has got nowhere. My GP and Endo are saying each other are responsible for the decision to give liothyronine back to me but of course it's the CCG. My last blood test showed that my thyroid was struggling . Also my vitamin levels. I can get an gp appointment until 13th Feb! I've written to my MP GP and endocrinologist. Copying in the Lord hunt dossier and nhs England guidelines. This is the letter I received today from the endocrinologist. My case has now been forwarded to medicine management, is this the CCG for my area? Any advise please on what i can do next?

Email Dionne at Thyroid Uk for list of recommended thyroid specialists, many can and do prescribe T3
You may have to get private prescription initially
This endo is obviously useless
Suggest you print out BTA guidelines and post them to him
Hi I ended up up with a half and half situation. My endo approved the t3 but put the prescription responsibility with my gp. I had been self medding for 2 years previous which may have helped my cause.
